Planning

The decision to grant or refuse planning permission is made by the local planning authority, Rother District Council. However, the District Council consults parish councils for their views before doing so.

The Icklesham Parish Council Planning Committee meets twice a month, on the second Monday of the month (before the full council meeting) at 6.15pm and on the fourth Monday of the month at 6.15pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend. See meetings page for 2011 dates and venues.

If you require further information on a current application, use the link below to Rother District Council’s planning website and search for full details using the application reference number. You are able to comment on an application during the three week public consultation period.
